Why a Steps Program?
Our Steps Program is designed to encourage members to build health savings. While the program is a simple way for members to earn HSA dollars, it also allows them to maintain an active lifestyle. Stay healthy and start walking.
How Does it Work?
You can earn $1 towards your HSA for every day that you walk 8,000 steps or more, up to 20 days per month. That’s $20 per month, plus an extra $10 in December. Your spouse can also participate, meaning you could earn up to $500 in your HSA just for walking!

Walking has shown to have a large variety of health benefits for people of all ages and fitness levels. To name a few, these benefits include: boosts in energy, easing of joint pain, improved mood, a strengthened heart, and more.
