What’s an HSA?
An HSA, or health savings account, is a personal health savings account that can be used to pay for both current and future medical expenses. The funds in an HSA usually come from contributions made by you, your spouse, or your employer. Not only that, but your HSA dollars are yours. They don’t expire. In fact, they roll over year to year giving you both health security and a future financial asset.
Money, including premium savings, can be deposited tax-free into an HSA to pay for current or future qualified medical, dental, or vision expenses for you as well as your dependents.
